Our educational program is divided into four strands at Progressive Academy.   Although the programs fit neatly into categories, our students are not crammed into a one size fits all packaging.  Due to the small size of our classes, an average of 12 to 14 students, and the flexibility of our excellent teaching team it is quite common for students to move through the grades at an irregular pace.  Perhaps your child excels in mathematics, and so can move forward in that subject.  If more intense work is needed to improve literacy, then arrangements for this will be made.  Students do not just move through the grades year by year, they are expected to demonstrate competence in the skills required.
